The PSC Scholarship (Sustainability) hones the perspective of outstanding and aspiring future public officers in the sustainability and circularity (S&C) space. Recipients are developed on the Public Administration career path where they will experience a wide spectrum of governance work, from policy formulation to implementation.
Applicants are welcome to apply prior to pursuing their undergraduate degrees or up until the penultimate year of their undergraduate degrees.

When can I apply?
Applicants are welcome to apply prior to pursuing their undergraduate degrees (referred to as ‘pre-university applicants’) or up until the penultimate year of their undergraduate degrees (referred to as ‘mid-term applicants’).

Be a Singapore Citizen
Demonstrate Strong Leadership Qualities and Potential
Present themselves as well-rounded individuals, possessing good academic and non-academic records.

Where and what can I study?
PSC Scholarship holders may study at local or overseas universities; and choose to read from a diverse range of courses relevant to the Public Service (subject to the PSC’s approval).
Value of Award
Cost of Degree
Tuition fees and other approved charges. For overseas degrees, return airfare will be provided. For mid-term candidates, tuition and other compulsory fees incurred before the award will be back paid.
Allowances
Maintenance and other allowances. For mid-term candidates, allowances will only be paid from the point of award.
Development Programmes
A series of sponsored development programmes, including internship opportunities, to prepare scholarship holders for a career in the Public Service. Recipients are encouraged to pursue opportunities in sustainability and circularity (S&C).
Master’s Programme (if applicable)
Sponsorship of master’s degree (if requirements are met).

Career Pathway
Upon graduation, scholarship holders will be emplaced on the Public Service Leadership Programme (subject to meeting requirements) and developed for multi-sectoral or sectoral leadership positions within the Public Service. Scholarship holders will embark on their Public Service career at an appropriate ministry or statutory board depending on the Public Service’s manpower needs and their suitability for the position.
