Member, Public Service Commission
Professor Tan Ser Kiat was appointed as a Member of the Public Service Commission (PSC) on 21 February 2013.
Prof Tan was Group Chief Executive Officer of SingHealth from its inception in 2000 up till 2012. He continues to serve as a Board Member with SingHealth and holds concurrent appointments as Chairman of SingHealth Fund (formerly known as SingHealth Foundation), Clinical Professor at NUS and Emeritus Consultant of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Singapore General Hospital. He is also President of the Singapore Medical Council.
He was appointed as a Board Member of the Office of the Public Guardian on 1 March 2014.
Prof Tan was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Gold) in 1999, the Public Service Medal in 2006, and the Meritorious Service Medal in 2012 for his contributions to the Public Service.
