  • Be a Singapore Citizen
  • For Full Term Scholarship: 'A' level, International Baccalaureate and Polytechnic
  • For Mid-Term Scholarship: Undergraduate in:
  • 1) NUS Bachelor of Arts with a major in Geography and a minor in Geographic Information System (GIS)
    2) Other courses of study in the local approved universities with at least a specialisation of a minor in GIS

  • For Overseas Scholarship:
  • Geospatial and geospatial-related courses of study in approved overseas universities.
  • Active participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) with strong leadership qualities
  • Medically fit

Local Undergraduate Scholarship:

  • Tuition and other compulsory university fees
  • Maintenance Allowance
  • Pre-Studies Allowance
  • Sponsorship for geospatial industry courses and seminars
  • Hostel Allowance: Scholars are strongly encouraged to stay in the university hostel for at least an academic year.
  • Overseas student exchange programme allowance: Scholars are strongly encouraged to participate in the university overseas student exchange programme. Allowances are provided in accordance with the scholarship policy.

Overseas Undergraduate Scholarship:

  • Tuition and other compulsory university fees
  • Maintenance Allowance
  • Pre-Studies Allowance
  • Return Airfare
  • Sponsorship for geospatial industry courses and seminars


Bachelor's Degree


Both the local and overseas scholars will work in 2 of the participating public agencies while serving their bonds. The service commitment of the bond is:
  • Local Undergraduate: 4 year bond
  • Overseas Undergraduate: 5 or 6 years bond depending on the country of study
