Details:

The bond-free Infocomm Polytechnic Scholarship aims to attract more ‘O’ level students to pursue an infocomm-related courses at the polytechnic level. The scholarship seeks to develop industry-ready talents upon graduation through the building of their technical competencies and skills set as well as providing them with valuable industry exposure. 

The iPoly Scholarship is available to Singapore Citizens who possess good ‘O’ level results with an excellent Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) record as well as a strong interest in infocomm. Students must be accepted into one of the full-time infocomm-related diploma course offered at any of the 5 local polytechnics. VALUE OF AWARD

Successful applicants will be given support for:

  • Full tuition fees and compulsory polytechnic fees
  • One-time laptop allowance
  • Courses and certifications* sponsorship support; and
  • Overseas work attachment expenses (up to 6 months), covering economy-class return airfare; and monthly attachment allowances

BOND PERIOD

Scholars are required to fulfil the following conditions during their course of studies in lieu of a bond:

  • To complete at least 1 course/certification as approved by IMDA
  • To volunteer in at least 1 infocomm event organised by Polys/IMDA/industry
  • To either embark on a project with industry/IMDA-Labs OR complete an additional course/certification that is not taught in school, i.e. another programming language etc OR to participate in at least 1 infocomm-related competition.
