The Singapore Public Service Commission (PSC) is a key pillar of the public service. As an organ of state, it serves as the independent custodian of the integrity and values of the Civil Service. Constituted in 1951, PSC's functions have moved with the times. But its vital role as an independent and neutral body to safeguard integrity, impartiality and meritocracy in the Civil Service has remained central to its responsibility.
