Non-executive Chairman, Power Seraya Limited

Mr Tan was appointed as a Member of the Public Service Commission in 1990. His experience in the private sector has seen him as Director and Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific Breweries Group from 1990 to 1993, as well as Managing Director of the Fraser and Neave Group from 1993 to 2002, after which he retired, with effect from 30 September 2002 . He is currently Non-executive Chairman of the Power Seraya Limited and Singapore Food Industries Ltd and Non-executive Director of Bluescope Steel Limited (of Australia), Singapore Post Limited, Cisco Security Private Limited, Keppel Land Limited and Great Eastern Holdings Limited. He is also Chairman of the Singapore Youth Awards Panel. Mr Tan was awarded the Public Service Star in 1999.
